A flour tortilla, filled with spiced beef, deep fried, then topped with guacamole and sour cream. (The secret to this dish is the spices Mama adds to the beef. Chimichangas are native to the Mexican state of Sonora and a special favorite of Jose's regulars). Served with rice and beans.
Three rolled tortillas, filled with chicken or beef and served with guacamole and sour cream. The meat "flutes" are made to dip in sauces. Each order also includes choice of rice or potatoes in tomato sauce (papas en salsa de romate).
A boneless chicken breast, seasoned with salt, pepper & garlic butter, bell pepper and onion, and then cooked slowly on the Fajita Grill. We serve it with Spanish Rice, refried beans, a green salad and tortillas.
A stuffed poblano pepper with chopped roast beef and cubes of potatoes seasoned to perfection and covered with cheese sauce, served with rice and beans when available.

Tacos al Carbon
Meat from the broiler (al carbon) served in rolled tortillas. Each order also includes beans, guacamole, and pico de gallo.
Served in corn tortillas and covered with green tomato sauce.

Diced fajitas, sauteed in a skillet with fresh jalapeno peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Served in a brown gravy sauce with refried beans, Spanish Rice and tortillas.
Strips of flank steak marinated in butter sauce and broiled to perfection. Served with Enchilada Nortena and fried beans.
Cubes of steak broiled on a skewer (alambre) with onions, tomatoes and green peppers. Served with Spanish Rice and Frijoles a la charra (ranch beans).
T-Bone steak, broiled to order and topped with salsa ranchera (tomato sauce). Served with papas en salsa de tomate (potatoes in tomato sauce) and charro beans.

Broiled shrimp complemented with bell pepper, onion, tomato, and lightly seasoned for a truly delicate taste.
A filet of fish broiled and topped with a tangy cream sauce Veracruz style and complemented with Spanish Rice and a green salad with guacamole dressing. A true delight

All Enchiladas are a Mexican casserole that combines a mixture of meat and cheese that melts in your mouth. All enchilada dinners are served with 2 enchiladas, rice & refried beans.

These are chicken enchiladas as they are served in northern Mexico. The special sauce is made form ripe tomatoes and Monterey Jack cheese.
